This Tudor-style home in Forest Hill takes a layered approach to its entryway. A striking red brick walkway leads past tiered shrubs, grasses and bushes, creating depth and privacy. Fragrant and colourful plantings – hydrangeas and white echinacea – offset the lush green, while climbing ivy gives the home a distinctive Cotswold feel. In the backyard, a sunken patio (with interlocked flagstone) is framed by a cedar post-and-beam arbor. A lounging area at the back, strategically placed to get sunlight during the day, is accented by low-growing foliage and planters filled with greenery.
